Despite a significant reduction in the use of chlorine, independent analyzes of water samples taken from swimming pools treated by the Scalewatcher have shown there to be a 0% bacteria count. The Scalewatcher is also suitable for spas and hydrotherapy pools   Using modern, integrated circuitry the Scalewatcher emits an electronic signal which induces low ionizing voltages into the water. This changes the physical properties of calcium thereby preventing scaling - which in turn promotes a bacteria free environment. It is simply installed by coiling the signal cable around the recirculating pipe downstream of the pump and filter and then plugging it into a power source. The Scalewatcher can be attached to all types of pipework material, regardless of size.
