Using modern, integrated circuitry the Scalewatcher emits an electronic signal which induces low ionizing voltages into the water. This changes the physical properties of calcium thereby preventing scaling - which in turn promotes a bacteria free environment. It is simply installed by coiling the signal cable around the recirculating pipe downstream of the pump and filter and then plugging it into a power source. The Scalewatcher can be attached to all types of pipework material, regardless of size.
